Chemical Peels

For Acne, Acne Scars, Hyperpigmentation and Mature Skin

A multi-tasking Medical Grade Chemical Peel, with a blend of TCA, Azelaic, Arbutin, Lactic, L-Ascorbic and Retinoid improves surface texture, fine lines, sun damage, and acne. PCA chemical peels are formulated in three different blends and can be layered together to help address specific skin concerns:

Maintenance

Anti-inflammatory, anti-acne and antibacterial action, making it an excellent choice for first time chemical peel users. Safe for sensitive and rosacea skin, as redness and inflammation can subside substantially after treatment.

Mature & Hyperpigmentation

A higher percentage of a TCA blend (20% Lactic and 10%Thioctic Acid), specially formulated to treat maturing skin. Designed to reduce dark spots and other forms of discoloration, promotes an even skin tone and clear complexion, improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps treat smoker’s skin. Moderate to aggressive exfoliation will be experienced, depending on the health of the skin.

Acne

A blend of AHA and BHA – to provide more exfoliation for oilier acneic skin. Lactic acid an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) dissolves intracellular desmosomes to exfoliate the skin and reduces acne-causing bacteria. Salicylic acid a calming lipophilic beta hydroxy acid (BHA) provides anti-inflammatory benefits, reduces surface impactions and melanin-filled keratinocytes and helps promote a clear complexion.

Chemical Peel 101

Who are peels for?

Chemical Peels are for everyone. Whether your skin is dry, oily, combination, or even sensitive there is a chemical peel treatment that will work for you.

Why do I need a peel?

Our skin naturally exfoliates, gently shedding dead skin cells so subtly that most of us don’t even notice, However, as we age, this process tends to slow, resulting in a dull complexion.

Will I peel?

Everyone peels differently. The amount of visible peeling you experience doesn’t determine how effective your treatment is.

Chemical Peel Myth vs. Reality

Myth: Chemical peels make your skin hurt.

Reality: Chemical peels are formulated with unique ingredient blends that work with your skin to allow for comfortable treatments without sacrificing efficacy.

Myth: Chemical peels are just for wrinkles.

Reality: Chemical peels can improve and prevent most skin concerns, including discoloration, aging, and even rosacea and acne.

Myth: Chemical peels leaves your skin red and peeling and require a lot of downtime.

Reality: Chemical peels leave you with a healthy glow, not bright red. They also have minimal downtime. Some guests even schedule their treatments during their lunch break!

In the Treatment Room

Our Chemical Peel Treatment begins with a deep surface cleaning for proper penetration of active ingredients. Followed by a papaya enzymes blended with vitamin E and honey mask to soothe and hydrate the skin. If needed, extractions of comedones is performed.
